Reminder App helps people create reminders, tasks, and planning notes by text or voice. This page is written to match the real app behavior and Google Play review expectations.
What data the app may use
- Reminder text and reminder metadata
- Voice transcripts created from voice capture
- Raw audio only while transcription is running
- Basic app session identifiers
- Subscription and purchase state when billing is enabled
- Account email only after account sign-in is enabled
- AI and speech-to-text usage logs for cost and reliability review
Why the app uses this data
- To create, edit, schedule, and deliver reminders
- To support secure voice capture and transcription
- To keep reminder state available on the device
- To restore purchases and future account-linked features
- To estimate service cost and investigate failures
Voice handling
- The microphone turns on only after the user taps record
- The app does not use background listening
- Short notes stay on-device when possible
- Longer paid notes may use encrypted backend transcription after stop
- Raw audio is not kept on the device after transcription finishes
Security and sharing
- Production network traffic must use HTTPS
- Provider keys must stay on the backend
- Data is not sold to advertisers
- Service providers may be used for backend AI, speech transcription, analytics, billing, and hosting
Retention and user choices
- Reminder records stay on the device until the user edits or deletes them
- Usage logs are kept only as long as needed for cost, support, and reliability review
- Users can delete local app data from Settings on the device
- If account features ship later, users will also have a public account deletion path
